I joined Smile Partners as I felt that, although Class 1 was a busy, mature practice, it still had some untapped growth potential and I wanted a partner to help me unlock it. Through Smile Partners’ partnership with Straight Smile Centre in Adelaide, I knew they had experience of managing and growing a big, multi-clinic practice like ours.
Rather than just advising us to “throw more money” at marketing, they looked at our new patient systems and processes, identified the areas that were holding us back, and helped us put together a personalised plan to address them. The result was in the first full year after joining the group we grew our production by over $2m, with no additional marketing spend.
I had recently taken over an established practice when I joined Smile Partners back in 2016. Since joining, thanks to the marketing strategies and business support my production has more than doubled, while I’ve been able to focus on the clinical side of the practice and managing my increased patient load.
Now that I’ve been in the practice for a few years, I’ve recently started to take on more of the senior management responsibilities which is a bit of a new role for me and has involved learning some new skills. The senior Smile Partners management team have been really helpful through this process, helping to come up with a management structure that works for me and being a really valuable source of advice on managing a large, growing business.
Having been part of Smile Partners for just over two years, we have been really impressed with their approach and the quality of service we receive. I work very closely with their regional manager for Victoria, and she is an absolute pleasure to deal with – professional, responsive, and has formed a great relationship with me and everyone at the practice.
